We’re a family-owned logging crew serving the Finger Lakes region of New York. We specialize in selective harvests of hardwoods, using intentional felling techniques and mindful skidding to minimize impact to the residual stand. We “cut trees to grow trees,” striking the balance between a rewarding harvest for the landowner with the long term health and productivity of the woodlot.

How we work
How does the process work?
We keep things straightforward:
Walk the land with you
Identify the right trees to harvest
We provide an estimate of timber value with a minimum guarantee
Plan access and any necessary road building
Execute the harvest with our experienced crew
Compensate you with a percentage split based on timber value. Logs are sold on site, log tallies and sale breakdowns are provided.
Woods roads are cleared and graded

We are based out of Hector NY, our work radius is flexible for the right jobs.
What type of woods do you look for?
Our focus is hardwood lots. We have access to particularly strong markets for Black Walnut and White Oak. We look for properties that are a minimum of 10 acres of standing timber.
